Man Up and Get In the Kitchen
Today is National Men Make Dinner Day. Regardless of how often you, as the man of the house, do the cooking, tonight it's your turn (including again or for the first time). Calling for a pizza or making reservations does not count or cut it this time. Clean up the house, make your shopping list, hire a sitter (if necessary) and get in the kitchen.
INVITATION TYPE
- Phone or Text: No formal invitation is necessary, just make sure your sweetie is home.
DECORATIONS
- Clean the house
- Do the laundry
- Take out the trash
- Light some candles
- For extra brownie points, buy her flowers
FOOD AND DRINK MENU

- Dessert: Strawberry Shortcake
- Cocktail: Find a wine that will complement the meal you prepare here.
ENTERTAINMENT
- Play soft, romantic music.
- As for the video entertainment, let it be ladies' choice (yes, you may have to sit through The Notebook).
ATTIRE
- Cocktail Attire – short, flirty dresses for women, slacks and dress shirt for men, casual suit, etc.
- And boys, wear your aprons.
