Sometimes you just need a bit of southern comfort. While nine times out of ten our track record here at Party Remedies would indicate we need to booze it up with Southern Comfort, this time around we are referring to the classic southern cuisine with African roots. So tonight, let's pretend it is Sunday dinner time in Savannah or Charlotte or Mobile, and get ready for an amazing meal.
INVITATION TYPE
- Phone: we don't feel you would even need to send out invites. People should just assume you're cooking and show up at your house. If, in fact, you do feel there is someone you have forgotten, then just pick up the phone and reach out.
DECORATIONS
- Decorations are minimal. The main event is the meal and your focus is to have enough table space and chairs to accommodate all your guests and keep everyone in one spot. Depending on your home and space, this may mean setting up a table in the middle of your living room. We do strongly suggest keeping the meal indoors.
- We recommend real china and silverware for serving, as well as using some of your best bowls and platters.
