Foreign types with the hookah pipes say, "Ay oh, ay oh, ay!" Walk like an Egyptian!

INVITATION TYPE

  • Snail Mail- Use pyramid-shaped invitations, decorated with hieroglyphics.

DECORATIONS

  • Decorate with the colors yellow, gold, and royal purple when choosing your paper goods and tablecloths. You can also use construction paper to make pyramid centerpieces.
  • Create the atmosphere of a desert. Use Egyptian pictures- such as pyramids, Sphinx, palm trees, and tombs. If possible, you can even purchase or make your own large cut-outs of these. If you have camel stuffed animals or figurines, place them around the party area.
  • Use lots of candles and lanterns for mood lighting.
  • If you have an area appropriate for smoking (either indoors or outdoors), rent or purchase a hookah along with flavored tobacco. Place cushions around the hookah to create a cozy seating area for the hookah smokers.
